Screening

Every caregiver, verified before they meet you

Each caregiver completes a Live Scan background check through the California Department of Justice, a TB clearance, and registration with the California Home Care Aide Registry before ever being assigned to a client. I interview each one myself.

Home care is a licensed, regulated business, and I treat it that way. Every policy below was written, filed, and approved before Ivanhoe Private Care ever accepted a client.

Insured & bonded
Ivanhoe Private Care carries general liability and worker's compensation coverage, and is bonded as required for CA HCOs.
Employees, not contractors
Every caregiver is a W-2 employee of Ivanhoe Holdings LLC, classified under California's AB5 rules.
Documented policies
Written procedures are on file for personnel screening, abuse reporting, bloodborne pathogen exposure, injury and illness prevention, and client admission and discharge.
